A Quick Look at Featured Projects

Norfolk Map Illustration

Norfolk, VA map illustration. I pieced together over a dozen google map screenshots, traced each street and painted the city blocks for a fun map composition with over 1,000 layers!

Typography Adventure Map

This tells the story of my 36 mile backpacking adventure with friends and family through the topography of the trails we hiked, mile markers and location call outs, and colored pencil illustrations of views and events from the trip.

Local Garden Center Event Poster

I designed a look and feel for McDonald Garden Center's 33rd Annual Crepe Myrtle Fest that was playful, classic, and flexible. I design printed crepe myrtle money, email advertisements, mailers, and in-store signage with this concept.

Designing a new look for sustainability

I created a new design language that expanded upon the port's brand standards and created a new aesthetic that would be used for all things sustainability. Starting with mood boards that spoke to intersecting ideas, coming together to create something new, I listed out the wide variety of people, places, textures, and graphics that could be woven together to tell each chapter's story as the starting point for collecting the possible ingredients for the composition.

I created a website for The Lobster Pit on the Jersey Shore. The site is fresh, fun, and inviting and highlights their food, drinks, and the restaurant environment.

Leadership Educational Workbook

Develop an identity for an online educational course on goal-setting that seamlessly integrates into the existing brand framework while standing out as a standalone product.

Custom Icons: Designed a set of icons to visually represent key concepts, creating an immediate visual association for learners.

Fillable Workbook Layout: Crafted an engaging layout for the fillable workbook PDF, ensuring a user-friendly and visually appealing experience.

Social Media Promo Posts: Developed attention-grabbing social media promotional posts that effectively conveyed the course's value proposition and encouraged participation.

1-Pager Announcements: Designed impactful one-pagers tailored for businesses, serving as concise yet compelling announcements to generate interest and enrollment.

Outcome:
The result is more than just a course; it's an immersive experience that seamlessly aligns with the brand's essence while captivating the audience's attention. The custom icons, interactive workbook, and targeted announcements have collectively contributed to a successful launch and engagement.

Custom Beer Bottle Design for National Conference

As part of the experience for the American Association of Port Authorities Conference, I branded a custom event beer called Deep Draft Lager. The design highlights the Thimble Shoals Channel that The Port of Virginia was in the process of dredging so it would be deeper and wider for safer cargo ship movement.
